Karnataka

As one part of our team continued with the Kidz-Up program in Goa, another group of us headed off to Karnatika to connect with the BIC Church there. This was the first visit of North American BIC leaders to this part of the Indian BIC Church.

Our journey began with a beautiful ride into the mountains by bus - spectacular view, and, of course, treacherous tight squeezes as we wound our way along the cliff walls. Even with a stop for tea, we made great time.

It was wonderful to be greeted by Hepzibah's parents and siblings - the pastoral family - and to begin meeting the other leaders and members of Karnataka BIC.

During our two days there were worship meetings, fellowship meals, soccer on the rooftop, children's programs, village ministry visits (complete with roadside lesson on how to eat sugar cane), surveying property for future ministry sites and a vision discussion between BICWM and Karnatika BIC leaders.

Our team is now reunited and today was a day of Sabbath on the beach to rest up for our last day of ministry and the long trip home. Tomorrow we'll worship with All Nations Centre and then head to airport!

We appreciate your continued prayers as we travel and we'll post again as we come to the end of our India experience.

Goodnight from Goa!
